Da Big Island Burn is a 100% female owned and operated small batch hot sauce company located in Kailua Kona, on Da Big Island of Hawaii. We blend local Hawaiian specialties, such as pineapple, mango, 100% Kona Coffee and lilikoi (aka passion fruit), with Hawaiian chile peppers and local organic honey to create a deliciously spicy taste of the Hawaiian Islands. This is a true Hawaiian Hot Sauce, with locally sourced ingredients, each batch made right here on the Big Island.
The initial idea for the company came about when we were faced with the “dilemma” of having too many mangoes, coupled with an intense love of all things spicy. An amazing mango hot sauce was created, and then we branched out into experimenting with other fruits. At one point, we had 13 unique flavors… but more isn’t always better, so that has been narrowed down to the best tasting combinations of fruit and chiles… a sweet heat that is guaranteed to give you a taste of the Hawaiian Islands, all year round, no matter where you live!
